CHT’s mission is to provide affordable health insurance and products designed to meet the needs of Louisiana’s business community.

Who can buy insurance from CHT?

An employer must meet ALL of the following eligibility requirements to be eligible for APHT’s plans:

1. Be a member in good standing with the Jefferson Chamber of Commerce.
3. The employer maintains business licensure and all appropriate state filings allowing the company to actively conduct business in the state of Louisiana.
4. Employers are required to have a minimum of 2 employees enrolled to qualify. 

Which of my employees can sign up for CHT's plans?

For an employee to be eligible to participate in CHT’s plans, they must meet the following eligibility requirements:

-Full-time employees (30+ hours per week)

For newly eligible employees, employees have thirty (30) days from their date of eligibility to enroll in CHT plans. If your new employee is outside the thirty (30) day window, they’ll have to wait until the next annual enrollment period.
