Announcing Chambers Health Trust

Chambers Health Trust is partnering with the Jefferson Chamber of Commerce to extend the program's reach to any businesses across the state.

We’ve seen a consistent pattern for businesses across the state: high renewals, limited plan choices, and very few affordable alternatives. For many small employers, healthcare has become one of the hardest expenses to plan for, and the gap between what they need and what the market offers keeps widening. That reality is what pushed us to broaden the mission of our program and adopt a new name—Chambers Health Trust, formerly the Advantage Physicians Health Trust. The new name reflects a shift toward serving a wider range of Louisiana businesses that are looking for practical, sustainable coverage options in a market that hasn’t given them many.

To support that expanded mission, we’re partnering with the Jefferson Chamber of Commerce, an organization that has spent nearly three decades advocating for local employers and improving the overall business climate in the region. With more than 900 member companies—from family-owned shops to growing companies—the Chamber understands how rising healthcare costs strain budgets, hiring, and long-term stability. And because any Louisiana business can choose to join the JCC, membership provides a clear, accessible path for employers who want to participate in Chambers Health Trust. Opening the program statewide helps us strengthen the pool, welcome more employers, and offer a meaningful alternative for businesses that have long felt squeezed by the lack of options.
